Vilamoura is an ideal destination for a family holiday. There are great beaches and many activities for children. Having a young family ourselves, the apartment is available with everything that you will need - including a high-chair, cot, steriliser and a small selection of toys catering for different ages. The apartment is equiped with an LCD flat panel TV. Reception is via satellite with many English as well as Portuguese and other European channels. We have also provided an Xbox together with a selection of games in order to entertain the kids and adults alike (we have even provided Tiger Woods PGA Tour for the golfers amongst you!). There is also a hi-fi and DVD player. The apartment is on the ground floor and has a large 25 square metre terrace. This terrace is surrounded by a high wall and secure gate, making safe for children. The apartment is set in beautiful gardens that are maintained to a very high standard, together with a lovely large and peaceful swimming pool - there is also a small, shallow pool for young children. For safety reasons the swimming pool is accessed via a secure gate to prevent young children from straying into the pool. The best and largest water park in Portugal! Aqualand has water attractions for all tastes, some totally unique in the country, such as the Banzai, which give moments of pure adrenaline, joy, fun, adventure and relaxation.
A fascinating entertaining and educational oceanographic facility taking its theme from the links the Algarve has with the sea. Bring your family and enjoy a wonderful day watching dolphins, seals, sharks, turtles, exotic birds, seabirds, crocodiles and tropical fish.
Excellent, modern crazy golf very close to Vilamoura's marina. Two fantastic 18 hole courses, with a clubhouse that also has a variety of games and a play area for younger ones.
Open the whole year, the Almancil Karting, inaugurated by Ayrton Senna, racetrack is a 760m length replica of the former F1 Brazilian racetrack. The Almancil Karting receives over 250.000 visitors every year.
Very close to the marina is this Museum and Archaeological site. This archaeological museum actually sits on the site of a Roman settlement dating from the Third Century. Roman mosaics and floors of a Roman villa can be seen here as well as a bathhouse.
